There has been a significant increase in espionage activity between the US and China, which has expanded to several domains and countries. The recent intelligence leaks, attributed to US Airman Jack Teixeira, have further contributed to this escalating situation.

China’s Defence Minister Li Shangfu will be in India for the SCO Defence Minister’s meeting from April 27-28. I will have more to say on the outcome of Li’s visit soon.
Meanwhile, Taiwan’s National Security Bureau (NSB) Director-General Tsai Ming-yen (蔡明彥) has said Taipei has shared "real-time" intelligence with the ‘Five Eyes’ alliance.
