Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit - China Singles Day - ASEAN summit

Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) leadership summit will be held tomorrow in Moscow (virtual). Russia currently chairs SCO. This is the first time Prime Minister Modi and President Xi will be face-to-face (virtually) since the military stand-off started.

Singles Day in China

China’s Singles Day or Double Eleven (光棍节) sale will occur on Wednesday. Alibaba and JD.com are expected to report record sales data.

ASEAN summit on Thursday

Vietnam will hold the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit from Thursday onwards.

ASEAN member states are likely to discuss economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 80 documents are expected to be signed at the summit.
